Hi… my name is Mr. Pibb.
Adopted December 16, 2014.
Exuberant, outgoing, and playful! That’s me! The nice folks who found me said, “he’s very friendly with people and dogs, and when he starts purring, he head butts. He loves to play and cuddle and is a talker when he’s loving you. He likes to sleep in bed and you’ll usually wake up to purring. He’ll make a wonderful companion and pet.” So there! The only reason they didn’t keep me was that I MUST be an only cat (I loved their dogs), so since I was last feline in, I was first out. I guess that’s only fair! I’m a handsome, orange and white tabby who will add so much pizzazz to your life you’ll wonder how you ever managed without me! Oh, and I also love watching TV!

Hi… my name is Vail.
Adopted 10-20-14
The layoffs at the Sierrita mine have affected more than people -– we pets have our future in jeopardy too – just like what happened a few years ago with the economic downturn. My little family was caught up in that situation, so finances being tight, felt they couldn’t afford three pets any longer. Since I was not overly fond (that’s being generous!) of their other cat and dog, they figured I’d be way happier in a quiet home where I could be queen bee. I’m a fairly independent gal, but maybe that’s because I had so much competition in my home, so I’m guessing if it’s just you and me and my beloved cat tree, my personality may even outshine my beauty! Won’t you give me a chance to prove that?

Hi… my name is Elfie.
Adopted November 21, 2014.
A woman driving on Frontage Road near Elephant Head found me (and a canine buddy) running along the side of the road looking VERY frightened and forlorn (and hot, too, I can tell you!). So you can imagine that I’m just ecstatic to be here at TALGV where I don’t have to worry about cars or other desert critters “getting me!” AND in addition to that, shortly after I arrived, I gave birth to my (last) litter of puppies — so I was doubly happy to have a safe haven in which to raise them! I’m a lovely shepherd mix girl, about a year or two old, and after my babies are gone, I’m going to be looking for a home where my people will cherish me for the sweet-natured girl I am.
Arrived June 2, 2014.

Hi… my name is Tubby.
Adopted December 31, 2014.
“Tubby is awesome, loving, smart, protective, charming, famous (was on MTV), and he is my friend. I hope someone will love him like we have. He will defend his owner!” So if you’re looking for a “guard cat” (a real rarity!), I’m the perfect guy! I was madly in love with my (adult) people, but I got a little jealous when the little kids wanted their attention, so kids coming first (I know and I understand!), here I am — looking for someone else I can charm and protect! I’m an orange and white gentleman who loved playing with my cat buddy, toys, laser lights, and then just relaxing. I come with Vet Care for Life, so with that and my services as your personal protector (and friend!) what more could you want?
Tubby comes with TALGV’s FREE Vet Care for Life Program.

Hi… my name is Freddy.
Adopted November 16, 2014.
As part of the “Flintstone litter,” my five siblings and I lived with a foster mom for three weeks when we first arrived in early July because we needed a lot of extra care at our tender ages. She said that among all of the gang, I was sort of “middle of the road” in personality — just easygoing and happy with whatever was going on. Well, I’ve continued that tradition now that I’m here — I’m a laid back guy who is content to watch or join in the fun — whichever option catches my fancy. I’m a young tuxedo boy who is going to turn into one handsome fella when I’m grown. But between now and then, why not take me home so you can enjoy the transformation?
Arrived June 29, 2014
