Even though I was found rolling in the dirt in a desert area near Wal-Mart, it’s evident that I belonged to someone pretty recently as I was in too good a shape to have been a longtime stray. That being said, no one has come looking for me, so as the tune goes, “I’m available…!” (Why is it that when people lose dogs, they automatically contact local shelters, but not so much for cats?) Anyhow, I’d like to say that my middle name isn’t “subtle,” ‘cause when I want attention I’ll sure let you know (and, conversely, when I’m done, well…). So why not do your Good Samaritan thing and give me a new home!

You can’t go wrong with a calico. So say I (and lots of head-over-heels-in-love-with-calicos folks!). Plus, I’m a Manx (well, I don’t have a tail, so if not the “real thing,” close enough!). I was rescued from an area where lots of cats roamed free and relied on the kindness of strangers for food, so it’s just awesome to be here where food and water are just brought to you without begging for them (who knew places like this existed?)! Anyway, I’m a lovely approximately 2-year-old girl who’d simply love to share my days and nights relaxing with you in a quiet home where there’s nothing to go boom in the night to scare me.

My brother, Creed, and I were returned to TALGV after twice escaping over a 6-foot fence. I’m a 5-year-old female Boxer and I’m gentle and enjoy being around children of various ages. I also enjoy the companionship of other members of the house. I can use the doggie door and I’m crate trained and ask to go out. I sit when asked and understand the word “no.” I’m leash trained and enjoy going for walks, but I’m not allowed to chase rabbits or javelina. I‘m not allowed to chase cats either, so a cat-free environment would be best. I obviously need a secure enclosure that I can’t climb over and if you have this, please call for an appointment to meet me. I’m certain you will be happy you did!

My sister, Princess B, and I recently returned to TALGV after we jumped over a 6-foot fence, twice. I’m a 5-year-old male Boxer who’s gentle and tolerant around children of different ages and I love playing with toys. I’m good on a leash, but I need a strong handler. I can use a doggie door I’m crate trained and also ask to go out. I’m a good companion to people with whom I share my life. I sit when requested and if I jump while playing, I respond to “no.” There seems to be one thing that I absolutely won’t tolerate, that is those of the feline persuasion. I have to admit that I’m not like those mothers who get all broken up when their kids go off to college! Nope. I’m darned happy that my babies all found homes, and although I was a first-rate mother, I can now get on with being number one in the getting-attention department. I’ve had some rough times caring for my kids until I was rescued, but I hear that humans like to dote on us felines (with lots of good food, places to climb, and laps to sit in!), so I’d like to find out for myself if that’s true. I’m FIV-positive and have Vet Care Support for Life, so won’t you give me that chance?
