Hi… my name is Socks,

Adopted 1-5-19

Socks has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate.

I came here with my long-time buddy Irwin, a little Rat Terrier mix. We’d lived happily together with our person, but then she needed to move and couldn’t take us along. Now, my little buddy has found his new home and so I’m ready for my turn. I’m a 7-year-old Lab mix female, tan and white with big brown eyes, and very accustomed to sharing my home. Indeed, you know how dogs love having a job? Well, I think mine is being someone’s devoted companion—keeping each other company, taking walks together, being the loyal friend who’s always glad to be with you. I’m housetrained, leash-trained, have Free Vet Care for Life, and there’s one more thing: For me, life isn’t complete without someone to love, so I’m asking: Will you be my someone?

Hi… my name is Irwin,

Adopted 7-10-18

When our person moved and didn’t have room for dogs anymore, I didn’t have to be alone because I’m with Socks! She’s my best canine buddy and in her very sweet way, she looks out for me. (I like to think I taught her everything she knows, but that’s a secret.) In appearance, we’re rather different. I’m smaller and older—a 22-pound, 13-1/2-year-old, black and white Rat Terrier male, and Socks is a beautiful 78-pound, 7-year-old, tan and white Labrador mix female. We’re both housebroken, accustomed to sharing our lives with people, and tend to be calm and gentle, enjoying a peaceful way of life. But we’re eager, too—watching and hoping for that special someone new to love, this time forever. Could you please double your pleasure and love both Socks and me?

Oh, and by the way, we both come with Free Vet Care for Life, so that’s just one more incentive to love us!

Hi… my name is Katie (aka Jamie),

Adopted 6-16-18

The world is full of sweet, understanding people, which is why I believe I’ll find my perfect home even though I’m not an “everyone” kind of dog. Most noises scare me, crowds do, too, and I haven’t been good with some children. But you know what I do very well? Cuddle on your lap. Indeed, for the right grown-up person or couple—patient and kind—I’ll be a very loving, devoted companion who asks only for a quiet home, a couple of toys, and a lap to snuggle in. I’m a 5-year-old, 13-pound female with a gray and white wavy coat. One of my front legs is crooked, but I’m used to that, and here’s hoping you’ll find me adorable in my own little way. If so, may I be your little dog forever?

Hi… my name is Chuck,

Adopted 4-8-18

If you’re looking for a “big, old softie,” come meet me! My friend, Travis, and I were found on Sahuarita Road and I’ve got to tell you it’s sure swell being here out of harm’s way and getting three squares a day! I’m a “glutton for attention” they say, and despite my size I’m really an “easy walker.” I know that any family that has a home with space for a big guy like me will be all the happier with me in it! I’m a handsome, 64-pound, red and white hound mix boy with those typical soulful eyes that will enchant you as much as my personality. You’ll just have to meet me to find out!  (bio needs update)

Adopted 3-25-18

MILLER is a beautiful, energetic, and affectionate, 2 ½ -year-old, 90-pound shepherd mix that was rescued as a puppy, but owner needs to find a new home for her as family is moving out of the country. Miller is in good health, is spayed and shots are up to date (medical records available). Miller loves people and usually has excellent manners. She is housebroken and asks to go out; she gets along well with other dogs with same level of energy, and walks well on leash. Children are okay but cats are unknown.

There is no adoption fee for this special girl.

If you would welcome Miller into a loving home as part of your family, please call Lisa between 8 AM and 8 PM at 1-414-364-3723.

Hi… my name is Louie,

Adopted with Gunner 3-25-18

Beneath my curly coat, you’ll find a fun, happy guy who loves his brother (Gunner), gets along with other dogs, and could be called athletic—my favorite outing is going for a walk; my favorite game is Fetch the Ball. Gunner and I were littermates; we’ve always been together and we’re very bonded. (We eat and drink from the same dishes, and sleep together in our own little beds.) We’re 3-year-old Poodle males, (18 and 19 pounds), have been good with visiting young children, well mannered in the house, and I like to watch TV (which Gunner tolerates peacefully). We had a good life with our former people, but now they have health issues and are moving to a smaller place, so we need someone new to love. Could our someone-to-love forever be you?
