Hi… my name is Little Big Man.

Adopted July 28, 2015

When the volunteers saw “CHC” listed as my breed on my intake information, they were really stumped! After sifting through the papers though, they discovered that my owners considered me a “common house cat”! Well, hey — there’s nothing common about me — we felines are all unique! My mom recently developed extreme health issues, so unfortunately my friend, Baby Girl, and I needed to move on. Dad said, “Although initially shy with strangers he soon comes out to investigate. He loves sitting on his mom’s chest, and will chase everything. He is a real sweetheart and loves to have his face and head petted – but the not rest of him unless he’s standing up.” I’m a handsome 3-year-old orange tabby who just needs one last home that I’m hoping will include Baby Girl.

When the volunteers saw “CHC” listed as my breed on my intake information, they were really stumped! After sifting through the papers though, they discovered that my owners considered me a “common house cat”! Well, hey — there’s nothing common about me — we felines are all unique! My senior mom recently developed extreme health issues, so unfortunately my friend, Little Big Man, and I needed to move on. Dad said, “Although initially shy with strangers she will eventually come out to investigate. She’s quite gentle and great to be with, plays with action toys and human held ones, and is a great regal lady that a quiet family will be very happy with.” I’m a beautiful “Maine Coon-like” tabby who just needs one last home that I’m hoping will include Little Big Man.

Hi… my name is Frankie.

Adopted June 26, 2015

The pet biographer just loves it when owners provide a lot of personality information about us because it makes her job so much easier! So, with no further ado, here’s what my people (who had to move to care for sick family) said: “Frankie is playful, friendly, very sweet, and great with the kids, dogs, and other cats. He loves to play with balls, cat toys, and with other cats (running, wrestling, and jumping). He is very docile with children and can be picked up, carried, and laid upside down (maybe not his favorite thing in the world though!). He is a very sweet/loving boy who is well behaved and well mannered.” WHOA! With those bona fides and gorgeous orange eyes that match my marmalade coat, what are you waiting for?

Hi… my name is Prince.

Adopted August 15, 2015

When I arrived in late 2014, it was actually a good thing that the Sahuarita police picked me up for “vagrancy” because I was running in the middle of the intersection of Rancho Sahuarita Boulevard and Pima Mine Road, and that’s a pretty dangerous place for a canine! Since I was already neutered, I guess I had belonged to someone at one time. I was adopted in November 2014,  but now I need to find another family to shower my affection on. I’m a magnificent white Siberian husky/shepherd mix with one blue and one brown eye, and I totally adore people. All I ask out of life is attention, an active family, and a place to call my own forever. That’s not too much is it?

Hi… my name is Candy Cane.

One wonders why people move to places that don’t allow their much-loved pets! Okay, I guess there are always those old “extenuating circumstances,” but that still leaves us loyal companions wondering if we did something wrong! In my case, I’d lived with my family (and a cat that scared the very devil out of me!) for four of my eight years, and they said I was a loving lap dog who wants nothing more in life than your love and attention. I’m an adorable tan and white Chihuahua girl who knows lots of commands (no, sit, stay, come, and “go bye bye” — love those car rides!), can use a doggie door, and, if I do say so myself, am perfect in every way! So why not let me be perfect for YOU?
