He is more independent, laidback, and reserved with strangers, but eventually comes to check things out. He loves to be near Oliver, sleep under the bed, on top of clothes, inside luggage — the usual cat behaviors. He has a distinct loud “meow” and that’s how you can tell him from Simon when you can’t see them. Wee thing that I am, I’m so glad that someone saw me tied to a dumpster or I’d have been a goner for sure because I was really sick at the time. Well, I’m all well now and living with a foster mom who says I’m the sweetest thing on four legs. I’m a young longhaired “foxy” mix of Chihuahua and something else adorable. I’m the quintessential lap dog, love all people (my whole body wags when I meet you!), am perfectly crate-trained (but need a bit more work on house training), and prance like a show dog on a leash. At my age, I’m still very much a puppy, but it won’t take any time at all for me to be the lap-sitting fur ball of your dreams!

DENVER is a handsome, happy, and energetic 11-month-old purebred Husky who needs a new home with a family that has more time for him. (His birthday is 12/2/13 and although both parents were Husky, he does not have papers.) He is good with children, family cats, and small dogs. Denver is housebroken (asks to go out but could use a bit more reinforcement), is crate- and leash-trained, and knows sit, down, and go to bed. He has been neutered and has microchip. Denver loves people and is not challenged by other dogs. There is no adoption fee.

My mom, a long-time volunteer at TALGV, was obviously a cat lover as she had seven of us (all adoptees of course!), so when she had to go into assisted living, she knew there would be no better place to care for us. Mom was pretty much “into” calicos, but my brother, Sam(e), and I were so irresistible she made an exception! I’m a sociable shorthaired Tuxedo gentleman, 12 years old (so I come with Free Vet Care For Life), and being “middle aged,” I’ve still got plenty of time ahead of me to make your life as happy as I did my mom’s. Why not “make her day” and take me home so the volunteers can let her know I’ve got a new lease on life?

I’m a laid-back, very loving and friendly, shorthaired orange tabby gentleman, seeking someone to hang out with. I’m a spry 12 year old with lots of love to give, and at this stage of the game, I’d really like a quiet home with easygoing people to spend quality time with. My mom would be ecstatic to know that I found a new home, so why not adopt me so the volunters can let her know I’ve got a new lease on life? I’m one easy guy to fall in love with!

My mom, a long-time volunteer at TALGV, was obviously “into” calicos as she had five of us (all adoptees of course!), so when she had to go into assisted living, she knew there would be no better place to care for us until we found new homes. Not to toot my own horn, but I’m an awesomely beautiful (and basically sweet) longhaired “dilute” version, and although at the moment, I’m not “into” being picked up (like a lot of cats) I’m sure that when I get over my loss I’ll make your life just as happy as I did my mom’s. Why not “make her day” and take me home so the volunteers can let her know I’ve got a new lease on life?
